Roof Ignite Ltd, doing business as Vetted Home Pros ("we," "us," or "our") operates a free service that connects homeowners and property owners with vetted, independent local contractors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our websites and landing pages (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information You Provide to Us
When you request to be matched with a contractor, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, phone number, email address, property address, zip code, and details about your project (such as roof age, project type, timeline, payment preference, and what matters most to you in a contractor).
2. Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, approximate location (such as city, state, and zip code derived from your IP address), device and browser type, pages viewed, and how you interacted with the page. We collect this through cookies, local storage, web beacons, and similar technologies.
3. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
We use third-party advertising and analytics services to measure the performance of our pages and advertising, which may set their own cookies or receive event data from the Service. These may include:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API;
- Google analytics and advertising tools;
- Microsoft Clarity, which records anonymized session interactions (such as clicks and scrolling) to help us improve the page experience;
- ActiveProspect TrustedForm, which records how you interacted with our match-request form (including the consent language shown to you and the time you submitted) so that the consent you gave to be contacted can be documented and verified;
- Twilio, which we may use to send a one-time text code to confirm that the phone number you entered is yours;
- Other measurement and attribution tools (such as campaign and click identifiers passed in page URLs).
You can limit tracking through your browser settings, ad platform settings, and industry opt-out tools such as the NAI opt-out page.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To match you with one or more participating local contractors that fit your project;
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message, or email, and to coordinate your free inspection or quote;
- To operate, improve, and secure the Service;
- To measure and improve our advertising;
- To comply with legal obligations.
5. How We Share Your Information
Participating contractors. The core purpose of the Service is to connect you with contractors. When you submit a request, we share your contact information and project details with the participating contractor(s) we match you with so they can contact you about your project. Participating contractors compensate us for these introductions; you never pay us anything.
Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Service (such as hosting, communications, CRM, and analytics providers), under obligations to protect it.
Legal. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and property.
We do not share your information with parties other than those described above, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.
The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your consent to receive text messages from Vetted Home Pros is an agreement between you and us only. We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes.
6. Calls and Text Messages
By submitting a match request and checking the consent box on our form, you agree that we and the participating contractor(s) you are matched with may contact you about your project at the phone number you provided, including by phone call and text message.
Text messaging program. When you opt in on our form, you will receive text messages from Vetted Home Pros about your match request, your matched contractor, and appointment scheduling and reminders. Message frequency varies based on your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message; we will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. For help, reply HELP or contact us at [email protected]. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent are used only to send you the messages described above and are never sold, rented, or shared.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing. Because sharing your information with a participating contractor may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under some state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), you have the right to opt out of that sharing. This does not apply to your mobile phone number opt-in or SMS consent, which we never share, sell, or transfer.
To exercise any of these rights, including "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," email us at [email protected] with your name, phone number, and the request you are making. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Data Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and as required by law.
9. Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
